The eligibility criteria for K-SET Chemical Science candidates can be provided with master's degree or equivalent in Chemical Science or other relevant subject disciplines such as Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Material Sciences from an accredited college/institute. Candidates who hail from the general category will secure at least 55 marks, whereas the OBC or non-creamy layer, SC, ST or PwD need marks of 50 or above. Final-year postgraduate students can also apply, and their application should be supported with proof that they qualify to graduate within the stipulated timeframe. The K-SET has no age limit. A candidate of any age is allowed to sit for the examination. All this guarantees that the candidate can apply to compete for the post of Assistant Professor in Karnataka.
