Fifteen nm gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are becoming more and more important for modern medicine because of their exceptional characteristics and possible uses. Their tiny dimensions along with big surface area enable them to make good drug delivery systems, enabling targeted treatment having less side effects. They can also be easily altered by various molecules so as to attach to certain biological targets, for example, cancer cells.
